37 weeks. If the baby showed up now, it would be perfectly acceptable. Which is NUTS. His nursery is all ready to go and it’s now my favorite room in the house. I love how it turned out! We went with a simple + slight New York theme, in honor of us finding out we were pregnant on our trip there. My pregnancy seemed to fly by, but these last few weeks have felt like all nine months put together. I hardly sleep since no position is comfortable. And getting out of bed or picking things up off the ground? Forget about it. I’m starving and too full all at the same time. My stomach seems stretched to capacity and is constantly itchy (hello stretchmarks!). I spend most of my time googling ways to induce pregnancy and browsing Amazon for last minute baby items. The anxiety and excitement are at an all time high and baby boy never stops moving. He seems to be just as excited as we are. This pregnancy has been such a whirlwind, and even more of a blessing. Having gone through what we went through with Mara, I tried to soak in everything about this pregnancy. It’s such an incredible miracle that we made it this far. I’m also officially ready to not being pregnant as I was pregnant for a good 14 months the last year and a half ha! Counting down the days until I can sleep on my stomach. Even though I know there won’t be much sleeping. Here’s to the magical, sleep-deprived days ahead. We’re ready for you lil’ guy!
