This past weekend, Juan & I flew up to Utah. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to the ol’ Beehive State, and this visit convinced me that I need to change that. First off, the weather was UH-MAZING. Well, anything is better than 110, am I right? But seriously, we couldn’t have asked for more gorgeous weather. We spent time with some of Juan’s old mission companions, who oh-so graciously hosted us. All of them are top notch people and treated us way too good! We ventured up to Snowbird, wandered around Temple Square, and even ate at the creamery for the first time. Mmmmm. We got to visit the Mt. Timpanogos temple for our friends wedding, and the Gardens at Thanksgiving Point for their reception. Both stunningly beautiful. It also just so happened that Juan’s mission president was giving his homecoming talk that Sunday. So it was a ginormous mission party at that sacrament meeting. It was so fun to see all of the people I’ve heard so much about, and even talked to over letters or skype but never seen in real life! Juan’s now convinced that we have to move up there so we can be by all his friends!
